Top 5 Ways To Celebrate Fall

Best ways to celebrate fall pumpkin patch picEven Floridians get excited about Fall. It doesn’t matter to us that the leaves on our tree’s don’t change color – the thing we get most excited about are the cooler temperatures. It’s so nice when we get to open up our windows and let in the breezy Fall air – not to mention it gives our air conditioning units a much needed rest.

Just like our northern counterparts, we break out the cozy knit throw blankets, sweaters, and scarves and start preparing ourselves for the coming winter. So what can you and the family do to capitalize and celebrate the arrival of Fall this year? Why not start some new traditions or borrow some from other homes and families and make them your own!

Here’s a list of some of our favorite Fall activities, from our families to yours!

1. Visit a Pumpkin Patch!
The very best way to kick off the Fall season is to visit a local pumpkin patch! Not only do they make great decorations for around the home, but you can use pretty much all of it! Make a pumpkin pie, bake some healthy seeds, and make a homemade jack o’ lantern! Perfect for a night in with the kids or just because! Year after year, it’s the little things like this that really make an impression and create new heartwarming memories!

2. Go to the County Fair!
Now we know how difficult this one will be for everyone. All the rides, cotton candy, and vendors can be overwhelming right? Not so much! Everyone loves the fair! Its rides and games are fun for the whole family. If you are one of those types that loves a good carnival ride, you’ll agree that nothing beats the view of the fair from the very top of the Ferris wheel! Unfortunately, the county fair only comes around once a year so be sure to get on those rides while you can!
