Valentine's Day Crafts for Kids

This weekend, I felt like I was back. For many years, I worked for a competitor stamp company and around every holiday, I would craft with my little ones and blog about it. That blog grew to nearly a million page views and was read regularly by crafters and mom's alike. It was something I was very proud of and passionate about. It's been months since I did that but this weekend, I pulled out some stamps, paper, ink pads, stickers and embellishments. I pulled out my camera. And we gathered around my kitchen table and created some Valentine's Day cards. Sitting with my kids and working on a stamping project and creating something for the upcoming holiday made me feel like me again! It engages the kids and allows me to be creative, too. For all the mom's out there searching for a rainy day activity, this one is for you!

This project is so easy anyone can do it. You will need:

• Card Stock
• Festive washi tape
• Stickers or embellishments
• Ink Pads
• Craft Stamps: we used "xoxo" from Simply Stamps's collection of craft stamps

Use this as your guide, but as you will quickly see, your kids will take charge of how they want to create their own Valentine's.
