North Hempstead, NY Custom Rubber Stamps
The city of North Hempstead was first occupied and settled around by 1643. The area played a vital role during the American Revolution. In time, the city began to grow and prosper. By 1836 the inauguration of the steamboat service and the Long Island Rail Road led to further developments. The town was initially a merger of 30 different villages. There are plenty of parks and recreational facilities around North Hempstead. However, it has its own share of landmarks that include the Roslyn House, Main Street School, Monfort Cemetery and Shelter Rock. Additionally, it has its own state-of-the-art community center along with several beaches like the Hewlett Point Park, Lido Beach Town Park and Town Park at Point Lookout. The city has been featured on television and on film on numerous occasions.
