#NailedIt by Jeanne

Hi, craft-lovers!

Today I’ll be sharing with you a simple, layered DIY card using a hashtag stamp and donut stamp from Simply Stamps!

Because who doesn’t love donuts?

I started my project by making my card back. I folded an orange piece of card stock in half.

Next, I added some white and pink acrylic paint to make it my own.

Using black ink, I stamped the “#nailedit” stamp across the card. I placed it across the bottom of the card, but it can really go where ever you think it looks best.

I then stamped my donut craft stamp onto a piece of white card stock. I colored the outer edge of the donut in with a brown water color paint.

Next, I stamped the donut stamp again, but this time I used pink ink and orange card stock.

I used scissors to cut out both of the donuts.

I used a sponge and brown ink to add texture, then adhered the orange and pink donut onto the white and brown donut.

Next, I adhered the now layered donuts onto the card stock base.

This DIY “#nailedit” card is a great substitute for the traditional “thank you” cards! You can also use this tutorial to make different cards featuring different sentiments for so many different occasions! Simply Stamps offers a variety of sentiment craft stamps, but best of all, they can create just about any custom stamp you can think of!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial today. See you again next time!
