How to Make a Flamingo Card by Crystal

Hi, everyone! Today I’ll be creating a fun and vibrant card using a few craft supplies and a flamingo stamp that can be found on Simply Stamps.
I began by mounting my stamp onto the wooden block. When I ordered my stamps from Simply Stamps, I chose to order them unmounted so I could use them however I wished.
I then used yellow ink to stamp the flamingo onto a piece of white card stock.
Next, I used an embossing folder to emboss a matching yellow card stock. I trimmed the card stock  to 4.25 in. by 5.50 in.
I selected a card stock to coordinate the yellow ink, and trimmed that to 2 inches x 4.25 in.
I then adhered a matching tag over the pattered ribbon.
Next, I adhered the flamingo onto the card with SD foam pieces.
The sentiment I used said “You must do a thing that you think you can not do.” I love this inspirational sentiment and think it matches this bright, happy card very well. I added the sentiment to the card with foam adhesive.
To add a finishing touch, I placed iridescent sequins on the tag and sentiment.
I love this project because it was so easy to make! Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you’re inspired to go create something of your own.
