How to Create a Window Effect Card by Crystal

Hi everyone and welcome to Simply Stamps University!

Today I’ll be sharing with you this summer-inspired card using a Karmabee craft stamps found on Simply Stamps. This beautiful, intricate pineapple stamp is the main focus of this ‘Thank You’ card. Stay with us and learn how easy it was to make!

So let’s get started! First, I stamped the pineapple craft stamp on to a piece of white card stock, and then fuzzy cut it. I used a rectangle die and ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot.

To create the base of the orange card, I added Acetate to the large panel. Next, I stamped “thanks” sentiment on the bottom, left corner. This sentiment was custom ordered from Simply Stamps. They make creating custom stamps super easy!

I adhered the pineapple craft stamp to the smaller rectangle die cut. By using a foam adhesive, I adhered everything on the back of the large panel. I placed everything together onto the card base, creating a window effect.
