How to Make Monogram Note Cards by Pam

Hi everyone and welcome to Simply Stamps University! Today I’ll be sharing with you how to create your own, DIY monogrammed note cards! Simply Stamps offers a variety of beautifully-designed monogram stamps. Choose your favorite layout and customize your stamp with your initials – it’s that easy!

Having personalized note cards to write a quick message to your kids, significant other, friends or coworker is always nice, but can cost a pretty penny. Avoid the large price tag and add a little craft-therapy to your life by making them yourself! Read along with this tutorial to learn how, or watch the full process with the video below.

You can choose to keep the color scheme the same with your personalized note cards and make a whole stack in an evening! Or choose to make a variety for a more time-consuming project. Either way, the end result comes out beautifully!

Here are the supplies I used for this project:

  • 8 ½” x 5 ½” tan card stock
  • 5 ¼” x 4” black card stock for mat
  • 5” x 3 ¾” off white card stock
  • Monogram Stamp from Simply Stamps
  • 2” x 3 ¾” patterned paper
  • Adhesive rhinestones or pearls for decorations
  • Scrapbook Adhesive

Instructions:

  1. Fold 8 ½” x 5 ½” tan card stock in half to make card base.
  2. Attach black card stock to card base.
  3. Stamp monogram in black ink to top portion of off white card stock, and attach it to the card.
  4. Attach patterned paper to bottom third of the card.
  5. To finish the card add three adhesive rhinestones to upper left of card.

You can follow these same steps using whichever color scheme and supplies you choose! Making a set for a loved one with their initials would make a beautiful, unique gift. Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I hope I’ve inspired you to get crafty. See you next time!
