Why Choose Self-Inking Stamps

Self-Inking stamps are designed to make stamping easier and more efficient. Because they are durable and long-lasting, self-inking stamps are ideal for frequent use. They are also refillable, which means you can use them for a long time without having to replace them. Whether you need a stamp for personal or professional use, a self-inking stamp is a reliable choice.

Best Used For:

  • Convenience: To make impressions all you do is press down on the self-inking stamp. No additional ink pad is required.

  • Speed: Because there is no need to re-ink the stamp in between sessions, self-inking stamps can make thousands of rapid and repeated impressions in a row.

  • Cost: Self-inking stamps are our least expensive option that still provide crisp and clear impressions every time.

  • Not Recommended For:

  • Large-Scale Projects: For bigger designs that require precision and detail, our pre-inked stamps are a better option to ensure the highest possible quality.

  • Shiny or Glossy Surfaces: Because there is no need to re-ink the stamp in between sessions, self-inking stamps can make thousands of rapid and repeated impressions in a row.

  • Quick and Convenient: Making rapid and repeated impressions is as simple as pressing the stamp down. There's no need to pause and re-ink the stamp, making the process extremely fast and efficient.

  • Long-Lasting: Made of durable plastic, our self-inking stamp bodies can withstand extended use. The built-in ink pads can make thousands of crisp and clear impressions before needing to be re-inked.
  • Re-Inking Your Custom Self-Inking Stamp

Our self-inking stamps arrive to your door already pre-inked with an ink pad installed in the stamp body. When the ink pad runs out or starts to go dry, we offer you the perfect solution to make the most out of your stamp. Our self-inking stamps can be refilled with ink in two different ways:

    1) Ink Pad Refills

Our replaceable ink pads are meant to be inserted into self-inking stamps. We offer several colors and sizes so you can choose the right fit for your project and your stamp body. To replace your ink pad, simply remove the old ink pad from its slot on the back of the stamp, and place thew new one in the slot.

    2) Ink Bottle Refills

If you would like to keep the same ink pad in your self-inking stamp, we offer bottles of ink to make this process easy. To refill your ink pad, simply remove the ink pad from its slot in the back of the stamp, and add a few drops of ink into the ink pad. Be sure to spread out the ink evenly. For best results, select the same color that was used previously.

Frequently asked questions about Custom Stamps?

Self-inking stamps have an internal mechanism that pushes the rubber stamp surface down onto the ink pad and then onto the target surface, creating an impression. The integrated ink pad ensures that the stamp is inked each time it is used.
Under ideal storage conditions, self-inking stamps are good for over 5000 impressions before the internal ink pad runs dry. However, that number can vary and we encourage customers to add a bottle of ink during checkout so they're never left out "too dry" when they need their stamp most.
A traditional wood handle hand stamp and specially formulated super marking ink are recommended for glossy and other non-porous surfaces.
Self-inking stamps are best used on porous materials such as paper, cardstock, and cardboard.
Regular maintenance involves keeping the stamp clean and dry. Clean it with mild soap and water if needed. Store the stamp in a closed position to prevent ink drying out.
