Long and slender, this leaf curves gently to one side, with finely serrated edges running all the way to its pointed tip. Evenly spaced side veins branch from the midrib, and a short stem trails off at the bottom. The fine serrations are the signature detail here, giving the leaf a crisp, botanical edge.
Its curve makes it a natural for borders. Stamp it repeatedly along the edge of a journal page or around a photo mat, turning the block so the leaves follow the frame. One leaf on a tag also looks clean and simple.
Try your spacing on scrap paper first so the border comes out even. Smooth cardstock keeps those tiny teeth sharp from print to print.
