Can I order an embosser insert?

At Simply Stamps our embossers are currently sold as a single unit. Not all inserts fit into our newer/older models and different embosser styles. To avoid any sizing issues, we currently do not sell individual embosser inserts.

Why would I use a foil sticker with my embosser?

Foil stickers have a number of benefits. They give the user additional opportunities to show creativity and style. Moreover, embossers work best with 20lb paper stock which is thicker than a lot of paper in books. The stickers tend to be longer lasting than the paper they're adhered to. And last, foil stickers allow the customer to avoid embossing a book cover or paper they might not want to damage.

Will an embosser work on a hardcover book?

Yes, an embosser can be used on the cover of a hardcover book. The quality of the seal impression, however, depends on the thickness and sturdiness of the cover itself. We recommend that customers who are interested in stamping book covers utilize foil stickers, which can be picked up during check-out. Not only are they stylish, but they won't damage your book or embosser when making an impression.

Will an embosser work on a paperback book?

Yes, an embosser should have no problem leaving an impression on a paperback book. With that said, since paperback book paper tends to be very thin, we encourage customers to consider adding stylish foil stickers to their order. These stickers work well with embossers and ensure a quality impression in your paperback book.

May I see a proof of my design before it's printed?

You may! During our one-page checkout process, write "Send me a Proof" in the Comment box and our Customer Focus Team will send you a proof of your stamp impression for your signoff before it goes to print. Please be advised that asking for a proof may slow down the production process.

What is your return policy?

It is our company’s mission every day to process your order timely, and accurately as you have entered it. Returns are not typically accepted for customized orders. However, we want you to be happy with your product. Therefore, for customized orders where errors were made due to the reasons listed below, we will make the necessary corrections and reship your original order at no charge to you.
