A swirl spirals inward across the top of this rose, giving the cup-shaped bloom its tightly wrapped look. Spiky sepals cradle the base of the flower, and two serrated leaves with branching veins reach out from the stem on either side. The lines are bold and a little sketchy, like pen on paper.
One rose on the front of a Valentine's card says plenty. Stamp it on wedding place cards, rehearsal dinner menus or anniversary notes, or on a tag tied to a real bouquet.
To color it, let the ink dry fully, then use a red marker on the bloom and green on the leaves.
