Massive upright stones stand in a long row, with flat lintels laid across their tops to form doorway-like gaps. At each end a few shorter stones stand alone, slightly apart, and a single line marks the plain beneath them.
The prehistoric monument stands on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England, and its great stones were raised about 4,500 years ago.
