Stamps can be used for some many different things – we use them to make our daily work tasks more efficient and to dress up our return addressing. We can create gift wrapping paper, party invitations, holiday cards and so much more.
Whichever way we choose to use them, chances are they’ll be used a lot! So we thought we’d answer the question running through everyone’s mind: What’s the easiest and most efficient way to clean my rubber stamps?
Watch our short video or read the step-by-step instructions below and soon you’ll be a stamp-cleaning pro!
Here are your 5 easy steps:
Gather your supplies! You’ll need a toothbrush, a dish soap and water mixture and scotch tape.
Tear off a piece of scotch tape and stick it to your rubber stamp. Remove the tape and you’ll see dust, dirt, etc. come off with it. Repeat this step a few times.
If your stamp needs more intensive cleaning, dip your toothbrush into the soapy water.
Rub the bristles of the toothbrush across your stamp, cleaning every crease. Repeat this step until your stamp is clean, rewetting the toothbrush as necessary.
Let your stamp dry.
Simply Stamps partners with industry leading brands like Trodat and Xstamper because we want your purchase to last. If you’re ever not satisfied with the impression your stamp is leaving, try giving it a nice, deep clean. When cleaned properly, your stamp will work as if it were new!
